Korean Educationists Visit

Over the past two weeks we have been lucky enough to host two sets of Korean educationists.
The focus of their visit was to look at how computing is taught within British schools.
We welcomed our visitors with some excellent music performances by Evie Cole, Ruby Gibbon And Sophie Taylor, talks by two house captains – Mae Dickinson and Ethan Landells, visited lessons in business and computer science, the robot coding was particularly popular. Miss Scott and Mrs Duncan gave a presentation of Information technology within our KS3 and KS4 curriculum and I hosted a question and answer session. The pupils were very polite and explained what they were doing in lessons and we were all keen to hear about the differences between education systems.
Both groups presented the school with gifts and invited us to visit them in the near future.
