Christmas is here again and we are trying to raise some funds for our Design Technology Department. We have been busy building houses, churches and our new product this year, an advent calendar.
Bringing Christmas cheer with our Santa-gram collection. The Charity Committee have been completely overwhelmed with the gifts that were sent in for the Santa-gram appeal.
Congratulations to the 6 students below who received first place in the SYFL competitions at Warneford and will now be entered in the Swindon-wide SYFL competitions, which include entries from all 13 Swindon Borough Council Schools.

Highworth Warneford students have been given the exciting opportunity to be involved in selecting the Young People's Book Prize 2020. Joining with 52 other schools around the country, our student panel will review 6 STEM books which are aimed at young people.

We will be holding online Pastoral Consultations for Parents of students in Years 7-11 from Monday 28 September to Thursday 1 October 2020.
Exam Results will be issued on Thursday 20th August 2020. This year we will manage results collection differently as we must consider the current coronavirus situation and ensure that everyone is able to collect their results in a safe manner.

In ordinary circumstances, students around the country would currently be heading towards the end of their fourth week of GCSEs, with most looking forward to their last exam and the freedom of a really long summer break. However, these are not ordinary circumstances and you have had a “unique” experience over the past few months that I hope will never have to be repeated. With any luck, you have all managed to find some positives in what has happened and are looking forward to the future.
From September the school will be introducing a system of Houses, with each pupil placed in to a House. These Houses will be led by four Heads of House and Deputy Heads of House. This is an exciting change that the school is currently planning and will undertake to reinvigorate the school’s pastoral system and bring positive change for pupils, parents and staff alike.
