Welcome from the Principal

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the new Principal of Highworth Warneford School. I feel extremely honoured to have been chosen to take this school forward onto the next stage of its journey. I am a parent of twin girls and my goal for them has always been to ensure they are happy in life and achieve their potential. This is a belief that I bring to my role as Principal. My goal is to create a warm, safe, ambitious environment that supports all pupils to achieve. Through academic challenge, depth of experiences and a wide range of opportunities pupils will develop their character, culture and attainment - giving them an excellent start to be whoever they want to be. I have worked in education for 25 years, firstly in Bristol and over twenty years at Lydiard Park Academy in Swindon.

Highworth has a hugely committed staff and, through the recent joining of the Park Academies Trust (which run eight schools in Swindon) we have the knowledge and expertise to make this a truly outstanding school.
